The first community-driven platform accelerating innovative blockchain startups on Sui, setting contribution records through strategic partnerships with MystenLabs and DaoMaker.
SuiPad, a pioneering Web3 crowdfunding platform built on the Sui blockchain, approached us to develop the first Initial DEX Offering (IDO) platform on this emerging blockchain ecosystem.
The client had an ambitious vision to create a comprehensive launchpad for promising projects while the Sui blockchain itself was still in testnet phase and generating significant anticipation in the crypto community.
The client required a full-package solution including design, development, and administration systems to launch before Sui's mainnet went live.
They needed a platform where users could browse potential projects, join whitelists, and participate in token sales based on tiered access levels determined by their SUIP token holdings. Beyond core functionality, they envisioned an educational component to help users understand the ecosystem and a venture capital aspect to connect projects with partners.
Developing SuiPad presented significant technical hurdles, primarily because we were building for a blockchain that didn't yet exist in its final form. The Sui testnet was unstable and underwent five major changes during development, repeatedly breaking our implementation.
Additionally, smart contracts needed to be written in Move, a relatively new programming language similar to Rust that few developers had experience with at the time. Creating a user-friendly interface while racing to be first-to-market when the mainnet launched added further complexity to the project.
We delivered a comprehensive platform featuring a project discovery system, detailed information pages with tokenomics data, and a whitelist mechanism for early access.
The platform included tiered investment opportunities based on SUIP token holdings and a complete transaction system for participating in token sales. We developed the backend in Kotlin/Java with a React frontend, while smart contracts were written in Move.
Our solution included a robust admin system allowing the client to manage projects, whitelists, and token distribution. The platform has proven successful in production, hosting over 20 projects with contributions from approximately 14,000 users, establishing itself as a significant player in the Sui blockchain ecosystem.
